Collecting, processing and disseminating information of studies on Vietnamese human and human resources in the form of folders, compilers, abstracts and database for research and training activities; organizing and managing the library’s activities to serve research and training activities; carrying out national and international cooperation in the fields of information and library.

Activities

• As a special library in the areas of human and human resources, the library of the Institute of Human Studies stores over 6000 documents, including books, reference materials, research results and all research works of the National Research Program KX.07. There are also 90 journals, magazines, newspapers in Vietnamese and foreign languages available at the Library;
• The library collects, supplements and provides information in the field of human and human resources research related to research methodology, social and cultural anthropology, human development indicators (HDI, HPI, GDI), human resources, human and culture, human potential and talent, human right, human and environment;
• Information technology has been applied in the library for developing database, searching, providing information. The library regularly updates various sources of documents into database. Original materials and their summaries are being provided.
• The Library provides folders of materials with summary at the reader’s request;
• The Library provides copies of original references;
• The Library provides abstracts, briefing and translation
