Evaluating the situations of the human resources management in Vienam, identifying both strengths and weaknesses; proposing some solutions, models and policies on human resources management, focusing on the trained workers in order to improve the effectiveness during the period of industrialization and modernization in the context of the transition of market structure, oriented transition, globalization and international integration.

Studying the industrial Vietnamese in the period of industrialization, especially Doi moi toward the knowledge economy.

Exploring some value perspectives and personalities of Vietnamese people today; suggesting some solutions to cultivate socialist- oriented Vietnamese human being under the conditions of market economy and international integration.

Systematically identifying methods of calculating Human Development Index and related index like GDI, HPI of Vietnam; making recommendations on the use of HDI to assess development in Vietnam contributing to monitor policy implementation and reform that puts human at the center of the development; recommending measures to promote HDI study and raising Vietnam’s HDI and HD-related index; building the practical and theoretical base for the National Human Development Report.
